Table Rock State Park SC Autumn Sunrise Photography

Early morning light at Table Rock State Park during the peak of fall foliage in the Blue Ridge Mountains of Upstate South Carolina. Autumn in Western NC and Upstate SC always offers such magnificent scenic landscape photography opportunities. I was thrilled to see the bright fall foliage surrounding Table Rock in the golden light of early morning, over an amazing relection of the rock itself through the morning mist rising off of the pond.

I named this image "Balance" not only because of the obvious balance in the scene with the reflection, but also because of the classic blue / gold complimentary color combination that sit across from each other on the color chart.
